Design:
The $1 silver specimen coin is minted from fine 0.999 silver, with a raised and polished kiwi against a frosted background.
The coin captures Mitre Peak in all its glory, with three unfurling fern fronds (koru) swirling around it to represent the realm of Tāwhirimātea (God of the Winds).
With a reduced mintage of only 10,000 this year, you'll need to get in quickly!
