Papua New Guinea - 1976 - Annual Coin Proof Set

Commemorative set of 8 coins from the newly independent Papua New Guinea. All coins feature the local wildlife on the reverse and the National Emblem, the Bird of Paradise on the obverse.

The 10K (.925) and 5K (.50)coins are silver, the 1K, 20t, 10t and 5t are copper-nickel and the 2t & 1t are copper-plated zinc. The set is presented sealed inside plastic and in a case and outer sleeve.
